The AT-2x6 Unit is a compact system, able to reproduce
musical and speech programmes with an unusual fidelity
compared with similar size cabinets.
It is structurally constructed from a single piece of pre-formed, rounded multi-ply
shell, without any joint in its main body. This shape offers a clear reproduction of
music without unwanted vibrations and acoustic colouring found in other
materials.
It has been designed as a two-way passive system, in a "Uni-Block" concept, with two
6.5 inches transducers in "Isobaric Compound " configuration, performing flawlessly as a high level music system, as well as a speech reproduction system in an emergency paging installation.
It is equipped with a Wide Directivity High-Frequencies
Horn that gives the cabinet a brilliant and pleasant
character, achieving a balanced response throughout its wide coverage field.
The AT-2x6 can be used on its own without any electronics processing, but has been conceived right from the start and following the current tendencies, to obtain its full musical expression capabilities, through the use of a specific signal processor. Thus, the AT-2x6 is able to reproduce the deepest bass with utmost purity, expression and reliability.
When coupled to one of the Subs available in the
Series (ATS-12; ATS-15), the AT-2x6 can be used as a small sound reinforcement system, able to generate punchy, clean and vigorous sound pressure levels.
