08.05 • Space AR208 line array in the Congress' Palace of Palma de Mallorca

In the Congress' Palace of Palma de Mallorca (Spain), there is a small amphitheatre used as auditorium where normally local artists give recitals.
This summer, the company Balear Acustic, has installed an AR208 line array with 8 top cabinets and 2 units of subs ARSO215. The system was inaugurated by the local artist "El Casta", who also used 2 PM10 as floor monitors in his recital.
The AR208 line array was powered by DQX amps and the  monitors by one CB amplifier.
An audience of 1.800 people enjoyed the open-air event in a splendid summer night.

08.05 • Space sound at the Youth Festival of Fuenlabrada (Madrid)

The company Sonorizaciones J.L. Ajenjo from Madrid has supplied the Space/RAM sound system to the Music Festival at Fuenlabrada this summer.
The audio material used in the main PA was: 8 AR215, 4 ARS218, 10 DQX amplifiers and 2 LMS244 controller.
Some of the bands who played with that system were: Tahures Zurdos, Los Lamentables and Os Cenpes.
Space system provided high SPL and exacting sound for the festival.

08.05 • Elliot Murphy and Sid Griffin at the Bellver Castle with Space

This year the summer festival in Bellver Castle on Palma de Mallorca was done again with AR208 line array.
North American rock artists Elliot Murphy and Sid Griffin, performed an acoustic concert enjoyed by about 500 people.
The installation was undertaken by Balear Acustic from Palma de Mallorca, who set up 8 AR208 and 2 ARSO215 and 4 PM10 as floor monitors for the artists. Amplifiers used on the event were: 1 DQX2.4, 1 DQX4.0, 1 DQX5.5 and 1 CB2602 and processing 3 LMS244.

08.05 • Alicante Jazz Festival, this summer with SpiraTech line array and RAM

Space and RAM have supplied the sound system to the annual Jazz festival of Alicante this year. It features a Space AR210 line array for the main PA system.
The company "Sonido e Iluminacion Limon" from Benidorm supplied 16 units of AR210 top cabinets supported by 8 units of ARS218 subwoofers, 4 DQX2.4, 4 DQX4.0, 4 DQX7.0 and 2 LMS244.
So, Space SpiraTech line array provided the sound reinforcement for Jazz artists such as Al Jarreau, Phil Woods Quartet with Strings, Bill Evans, Mingus Big Band, Maceo Parker and Latin Giants, among others.
An enormous audience enjoyed the Jazz music through the clear sound given by the AR210 line array system.

08.05 • EASE Focus Aiming Software for AR208 Line Array

Space AR208 users can use the software EASE Focus® Aiming Software for AR208 Line Array as a tool to aid to set up the array for a show; it also allows an easy and quick prediction of the AR208 line array performance in a given venue.
That software, particularly adapted for SpiraTech AR208 Line Array, has an intuitive and consistent interface, which makes it a very easy and practical tool to configure and model the AR208 line array very close to reality.

Very soon it will be available the simulation software for SpiraTech AR210 and AR215 line arrays.

07.05 • Space SpiraTech AR208 in the Fürstenberg Festival

Fürstenberg Brauerei is one of the biggest breweries in Germany and in July, for the second time, it organized the "Fürstenberg Festival".
The concerts of the different bands playing Trash Metall, Top-40 and Party-Power-80's music, were successfully enjoyed by an audience of 4000 people, thanks to the Space AR208 line array.
The sound system consisted of 16 units of AR208 top cabinets and 4 ARSO215 subwoofers, all powered and controlled by RAM DQX amps and LMS244 controllers.
The German dealer of RAM and Space MG Audio, led by Mr. Martin Keller, supplied the system to the rental company To Light.

07.05 • International Reggaeton Festival with space line arrays

Space line array systems provided the sound reinforcement for the Reggaeton Festival in Tenerife (Spain), with an attendance of over 10.000 people. Artists such as the Puerto Ricans Don Omar, Luny Tunes and Tha’locos, the Dominican Papi Sanchez and the Spanish Mala Rodriguez and Miguel Saez, made all these people dance until the early hours of the morning. The installation was undertaken by Sonoplus Canarias, together with MCM Audio, distributor of space and RAM for Spain. There were used different space line arrays for different options; so the main PA system was made up of 16 AR215 and 6 AR210 for long and medium throwing and for front fill it was used 4 units of the small line array AR208, all that completed with 16 units of ARS218 subwoofers. On the stage, artists were excellently attended with the high SPL obtained with 12 AR208 and 4 ARSO215 as side-fills (system used in other events as PA system for audience over to 2000 people) and 8 PM10 as monitors. All space material was powered by 34 DQX amps and 9 LMS244 processors. Don Omar’s manager commented about the excellent coherence in the first row of the stage from the centre to the towers of the main arrays and the high quality of sound of the complete system.

07.05 • "Loft Club" in Creta with space-RAM sound

The RAM/space distributor for Greece, Loucas Hatzis, together with his dealer for the island of Crete, Mr. Kostantinos Athanasakis from AK Vibe, have been in charge of the sound system installation in the Loft Club Disco in Heraklion, near the beach where almost all leisure locals are located. Before deciding on the space AR210 powered by RAM amps, they listened to line arrays from other brands, but decided on ours due to the extraordinary quality and definition. “After attending the demo that RAM/space people did at Barraca disco in Valencia, I had no doubts that the system that we needed for that installation, was the space line array” commented Mr. Athanasakis after the opening of the Loft Disco.

06.5 • Fressgass Fest in Frankfurt with Space AR208+RAM DQX

The old and legendary Fressgass street in Frankfurt, was the scene one more year, of the mythical "Fressgass Festival".
Space AR208 line array provided the sound reinforcement for Soul Music artists such as Waymond Harding, Linda Freeland and the diva Liz Mitchell from old group Boney M.
The sound system was formed by 12 AR208, 4 ARSO215, 1 DQX2.4, 1 DQX4.0, 1 DQX5.5 and 2 LMS244.
"The festival was a big success and the system was working great!" were the words of Mr. Michael Schulz from ProAudio Marketing, who was also playing his saxophone with his Soul and Rock'n'Roll band at that festival.

06.05 • Religious service in Indonesia with space AR215 line array

The Indonesian distributor for RAM Audio and space equipment, Ruben Tampubolon, has provided the audio material for the spectacular religious service in Monas as shown on the picture. The line array system was composed of 12 units of space AR215, powered by RAM DQX amplifiers and processed by RAM LMS244 controllers.
For this important project, Ruben counted with the technical support of our I+D department to get the coverage and pressure’s objectives that this big installation required.
The installation company praised the technical effort of Ruben and the perfect performance of the RAM/space system installed.

06.05 • Techno Party in a big tent with Space/RAM sound

ARA Mediatec company was responsible for the big techno party which took place in the German Bavaria region.
An audience of around 3000 people enjoyed the fantastic sound given by 12 AR208, 4 ARSO215, RAM DQX amps and LMS controllers.
The owner of the company said "After testing many other similar systems, it was easy for us to decide to purchase the Line Array AR208. Its compact handling, the clear mid-high range, as well as the high sound power, convinced us. Moreover, the competent consultancy, the customer service and the after-sales support provided by ProAudio Marketing, were for us the crucial arguments for the purchase of this system".

05.05 • Demo in Frankfurt of the AR208 line array

After the tremendous expectation that the space AR208 line array system caused in the last edition of ProLight+Sound in Frankfurt, ProAudio Marketing, distributor of RAM and space for the German market, organized a big demo for some of the more important rental companies in Germany at the Eissporthalle. There were installed 12 AR208 and 4 ARSO215 subs per side, powered by RAM DQX amps and controlled by RAM LMS244 controllers. The production company, PA Sound, was in charge of the installation of the system, and Miguel Angel Royo, Miguel Torres, David Arnau and Monica Royo travelled there to give the factory’s technical support to the event. The ProAudio Marketing team, headed by Mr. Josef Becker, were attending all the inquiries of their customers regarding the line array. Due to the big interest of the people present at the event, it has been decided to do the demo again in different places of the country during the next months.

05.05 • Space PM10 and AR208 at KOBA show - Seoul

The official distributor of Space and RAM products for the South Korean market, Sound Solution, presented at KOBA fair, the SpiraTech AR208 line array and the PM10 cabinets configured as an array.
The PM10 cabinets allow the assembly of an array, by using the specific hardware to hang and joint cabinets with different angles between them.
These systems have been very successful in the Korean market, together with the AR208 line array; both systems always powered by DQX amplification. Jessy Jin, Sales Manager of Sound Solution, said that their customers show a big interest in our Space products thanks to their excellent value for money.

04.05 • Space and RAM at JAPEX fair in Jakarta

One more year, Ruben Tampubolon, distributor of RAM and Space material in Indonesia, participated at the JAPEX show in Jakarta.
This year all complete catalogue of RAM and Space were presented to the Indonesian market, including the three Space SpiraTech line arrays (AR208, AR210 and AR215), PM series and DQX amplifiers.
So successful was the event for our distributor that, in the three next months, one of each Space line arrays have been installed for different purposes and several installations have been done using our PM series.

03.05 • Open-air mass at Yecla (Spain) with Spiratech Line Array

In Yecla (Murcia, Spain) it was celebrated the 50^th anniversary of the coronation of its patron saint, The Castle's Virgin, La Inmaculada.
It was offered an open-air mass attended by 18.000 fervent followers of La Inmaculada.
The supplier of the sound material, Key-Pro company (Alicante), chose a combination of the AR215 and AR210 line arrays hanged along the main street where most of the faithful were congregated. 12 units of AR215, 8 of AR210 were powered by 16 DQX amps and 4 LMS controllers.

01.05 • Religious service at Jakarta with AR215 line array

The "Ibadah Awal Tahun 2005", live religious service to celebrate the new year in Indonesia, took place at the sports stadium Istora Bung Karno in Jakarta.
The large faithful of the Gereja Bethel Indonesia Christian Religion, enjoyed the event thanks to the Space Line Array AR215 installed at both sides of the pulpit.
The sound system provided by our distributor Ruben Tampubolon, consisted of: 12 AR215, 8 ARS218, 6 DQX4.0, 6 DQX5.5, 4 DQX7.0 and 2 LMS244.
It was the first religious service placed in Indonesia using our SpiraTech line arrays and it has been followed by several more until now.

10.04 • AR208 Line Array in the "Motor Show" in Santiago de Chile

Several Chilean artists provided the entertainment for the  last edition of the "Salon del Automovil" (Motor Show) placed in Santiago de Chile.
For that purpose, the RAM/Space distributor in Chile, Importadora y Distribuidora Rasmussen, supplied the sound system to this 4-day event.
It was decided to set up an AR208 line array, formed by 12 AR208 top cabinets together with 4 units of ARSO215 subwoofers; powered by 3 RAM DQX amps and controlled by 2 LMS244 controllers.
The system was placed on the stage, using our specific "On Stage" frame, since requirements of the organization do not permit to hang the system.
That event serves as a presentation of the system in the Chilean market, and so successful was it that, several of these systems have already been supplied to Importadora y Distribuidora Rasmussen, in the next following months of the show.

09.04 • SpiraTech Line Arrays in The Campus Rock Festival

The annual "Campus Rock Festival" which takes place on Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain), this year counted on the estimable presence of Spanish artists such as Los Secretos, La Oreja de Van Gogh and Fangoria.
Space AR215 and AR208 line arrays provided the sound reinforcement for the 4-hour long concert.
The installation was undertaken by Sonoplus Canarias, and Simon Higueras decided to install 8 AR215 supported by 4 ARS218 subs per side, for the main PA system and on the stage, as side-fills, 6 AR208 and 4 ARSO215 per side. Monitoring cabinets on the stage were PM10 and PM15. All sound system was powered by DQX amplification.

08.04 • Summer Festival on Palma de Mallorca

Dealer of Space and RAM for the Balearic Islands, Balear Acustic, was the responsible for the supply of the sound system for the Summer Festival in Bellver Castle on Palma de Mallorca.
There were installed for the live event, 12 AR208 in two tracks with 2 ARSO215 per side. As floor monitors were used 4 units of PM10.
The concerts were attended by an audience of about 400 people, in a small room of the castle.

08-04 • Blondie plays Marbella with Space

Another great night for classic New York group. The Blondie's 2004 World Tour made its second Spanish concert in the posh, international, jet-setter, Mediterranean Costa del Sol resort. Another lot of good exposure for RAM Audio and Space who set-up a combination of their AR-215 and AR210 Line Arrays cabinets, to evenly cover the packed playing field the seating tiers at the Hotel Puente Romano Tennis Court.

08-04 • Shreek 2 movie presented with Space

The South African production company, Comm Express Services, under Mr. Dylan Bridle leadership, organized the presentation of the Shreek 2 movie at the Nelson Mandela square in Sandton, Johannesburg.

The acoustic system chosen to this event was composed of 8 units of Space SpiraTech line array AR215 and 6 units of AR210, amplified with RAM Audio DQL amps.

An audience of 5000 people enjoyed this event. Biggest compliment regarding the production was given to the Space line array.

07-04 • Melendi 10 with Space Equipment

Ramón Melendi is one of these artists who wants to transmit to his audience the deep contents of his creations. With that aim, Melendi chose the Line Array AR series of Space to performance the "Melendi 10 live event" in Las Norias (Almeria - Spain).

Sonosur, under Daniel Osorio´s leadership, was the company in charge of the organization of this event.

Twelve units of AR215, eight units of ARS218, sixteen units of RAM Audio DQL amps and two units of RAM Audio LMS-244 digital controller formed the P.A. system.

Midas XL2, Klark Teknik DN360, Drawmer, Lexicon PCM70-80 and Yamaha SPX1000 for control system.

07-04 • SPACE AT series in Harbour Cafe

16 units of AT-6 and 8 units of ATS-8 have been installed in the Harbour Cafe in Toensberg, Norway. 

KSL Studio Import chose the installation series of SPACE because of its unusual fidelity to reproduce musical and speech programs. 

The three floor building includes an exclusive Bar, one excellent restaurant and a Tonga Bar. Harbour Cafe offers  its clients the possibility to enjoy a drink or good dinner to the sound of high quality music.

The system is amplified by RAM Audio´s  BUX Series.

06-04 • Performing Musician goes to Greece

RAM Audio have supplied their distributor in Greece, Loucas Hatzis, five turn-key systems based on the Performing Musician Series of SPACE. Each one consists of eight units of PM-10 in two groups of 4 arrayed clusters with their own optional interface and rigging hardware, two ARS-215  subs cover the low frequencies, two DQL 2.4 and one DQL 5.5 are the amplifiers used  and one RAM Audio digital controller LMS-244 as loudspeaker management unit. Six PM-15 complete the system for monitor purposes.

05-04 • SPACE Line Array in South Africa

Big Brother Productions from Johannesburg chose the Spiratech Line Array from SPACE to organize the H2O festival. Fifteen thousand people enjoyed this wonderful event and our distributor, ZABO AV, could show the great performances of our AR-215, AR210 Line Array cabinets. Lots of acoustic engineers went to listen to this system (first time in South Africa) and Mr. Brian Mpanza and Mr. Bogdan Janiszyn from ZABO AV are in the process of organizing other events in the next months.

05-04 • AR208 Line Array AVAILABLE NOW !

The first units of SPACE Line Array AR-208 were sent last week.

The successful launch in MesseFrankfurt and the high interest of our distributors have been the reasons to speed up the procedures to offer this system.

The System includes 12 units of AR-208 and 4 units of ARSO-215, together with an specific frame to flight or to stack on the stage (picture). Ten thousand watts (AES) of pure sound to work in small-medium events, concert side fills, orchestra-band systems... where the high quality of sound  is required and the features of a Line Array are demanded by professionals today.
